Quite the Much-Appreciated Whirlwind!
Well hello, everyone! It has been quite a while...because...it has been quite BUSY at our new establishment! SUCH a wonderful "problem" to have in Hobson, MT!
We opened almost a month ago, and what a phenomenal response! We could not ask for a more supportive community! Hobsonites, folks from Moore, Judith Gap, Moccasin, and Lewistown have all bopped in for a beer or a three-course meal! We have had guests return over three times in the past month for our succulent prime rib paired with a cold brew! Wow!
Moving into the summer, wedding season is picking up, and we are busy preparing for all of the wonderful couples that will be tying the knot! We are headed all over the state...from here in Central Montana, to Bozeman, to Highwood! If you know a couple of lovebirds looking for a delicious feast, drop our name!
One thing that I'm learning as a business owner (and new mother)...is that one quickly has to move past the necessity of sleep! Haha, I have a running joke with my fellow bar-owner from across the street...we are the proud president and secretary of the newly established club: Have A Baby, Buy A Bar. We are trying to get the Napping Club off the ground, but that project has thus far proved futile.
We are still making changes to our menu, finding out what works and what does not. While the meat and charcuterie board seemed like a good idea, the item was not in high enough demand and has since been removed from the menu. However! Our Raspberry Chicken Salad has made its comeback, as well as a new favorite: Buffalo Chicken Salad! We have had a few requests, from crayons to Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches! Since opening, I have learned what a vodka gimlet is, and how the perfect cherry limeade is made!
We are so appreciative of feedback from our guests! Hope to hear more from you!
Look forward to seeing you at the Tavern! Keep it fancy! (But not fancy)
